The slide in this item, from Paul Molitor of NEMA, was presented at RETECH 2013. It shows what’s going on to take the idea of Energy Storage from concept to reality.
ES is really important. It enables us to gather Solar energy (via Photovoltaics) while the Sun shines, and use the power after dark. It’s especially important for Wind. And it has all kinds of other potential applications for people who use electricity . . . i.e., all of us who live and work in the U.S.
