Elephant News: Lots of US Cash Going to Kenya Operation That Benefits Orphans

From an April e-mail received from the U.S. Friends of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust:

U.S. Friends of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was founded in 2004 as a tax-exempt public charity. It made its first grant of $123,598 to the DSWT in 2005. Your generous support has enabled U.S. Friends to significantly increase its grants to the DSWT over the past nine years, and in 2013 we granted $1,647,345 toward their valuable programs.

Some very tiny slice of that money (n most of the years since 2005) hsa come from the EleBlog’s proprietor.
